Jeep® Wrangler features the 3.6L Pentastar™ VVT petrol V6 engine, teamed six-speed manual on Rubicon or the five-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Range Select on Sahara as the standard powertrain. It delivers 209 kW and 347 Nm of torque – all this power with surprisingly satisfying fuel efficiency.

Dominating the 4x4 landscape for over 70 years, legendary Jeep® capability is re-engineered with the second-generation Command-Trac® system. With shift-on-the-fly facility and a 2.72:1 low range capability to significantly increase the traction in off-road conditions. The Rock-.Trac® 4x4 system, available only on Rubicon, significantly increases the available torque to the wheels and provides a 4:1 low-gear crawl ratio.
Hill Descent Control (HDC)
Hill Descent Control maintains a constant present speed during a descent without the driver needing to touch the brake pedal. This system applies the brakes to each wheel individually when needed to reduce forward motion while negotiating descents.
Hill Start Assist (HSA)
Hill Start Assist keeps the brakes applied for a short period of time once you have removed your foot from the brake allowing you to accelerate without rollback.
The above-center mounting on the Rubicon front axle adds ground clearance and helps to reduce the driveshaft's joint angles for smooth and quiet operation.
Wrangler Rubicon is equipped with Tru-Lock® electronic-locking differentials. The instrument panel rocker switch activates either the rear or both axels for ultimate traction.
This Rubicon only system, lets you automatically disengage the sway bar when driving under 18 mph in 4LO mode. The front wheels can then drop and compress up to 25% further to tackle the most challenging terrain.
Nothing gets between a Wrangler and adventure with 223 millimeters ground clearance and approach (38,4° degrees), breakover (25,1° degrees) and departure (31,3° degrees) angles.
Jeep® Wrangler offers the ability to tow up to 2,200 kg with Trailer Sway Control automatically engaging when needed.
